It was as if someone turned the faucet off on my metabolism in my 40's.

For the rest of the trip all I could think about was seeing 203 on the scale.

I then tried to detox my body with a "juicing" diet. 

I ended up gaining more, because I would be so hungry and would snack on junk food.

Even tried some home remedies that a lady from my local health food store swore by.

These concoctions consisted of apple cider vinegar, lemons, bananas and other health remedies...

Next I tried Keto which was great in the beginning, but I missed bread way to much. 

I resorted to counting calories, and I cut out meat and only ate vegetables and salads for a whole month! 

The scale number dropped ever so slightly.

I felt defeated...

"Is there something wrong with me internally"?

I decided to get a physical with my doctor.
So the first thing I did was add fruit into my daily diet. It did nothing...

I then decided to try to detox my body with a "juicing" diet. 

I spent hundreds of dollars on a nice juicer and fruit and while I did see success, I ended up gaining more flab because I would be so hungry and would snack on junk food.

I then tried adding walking into my day and get 8-10k steps.
My joints would hurt so bad that the next day that I would sit all day and not move from my couch.

I even tried some home remedies that a lady from my local health food store swore by.

These concoctions consisted of apple cider vinegar, lemons, bananas and other "healthy" things...

I also tried sleeping with a peeled onion in my sock to detox my body. All it did was give me stinky feet.

Next I tried Keto which was great in the beginning but I missed bread way to much.

I resorted to counting calories, and I cut out meat and only ate vegetables and salads for a whole month!

The scale number only changed by 2 to 3 pounds. I felt defeated...

After my physical he calmly told me there is absolutely nothing wrong. 

He went on to explain that the flab I gained over the years has nothing to do with what I eat or how much I exercise.

He then quietly whispered to me that him and his colleagues just got back from a medical conference a few weeks ago from a small town in Vietnam, De Bac.
